Straight answers about booking, payments, collection, weather, changes and what to expect on the wedding day.
Start by checking your wedding date and venue postcode. If the date is available, choose mini golf, a games-only package, a combined package or Build Your Own. You’ll see the price, extras and any postcode-based travel fee before payment. A 25% deposit secures bookings made 30 or more days before the wedding, with the balance due 30 days before the date. Bookings made fewer than 30 days before the wedding must be paid in full.
Yes. You can add or remove games, change your selection, add or remove an Event Host, or adjust other booking details before the wedding, subject to availability. We do not charge amendment fees; you simply pay any difference in the items you choose. To make a change, email bookings@onthegreengames.co.uk and we’ll update the booking with you.
The 25% deposit is non-refundable. If you cancel 7 or more days before the wedding, any amount paid above the deposit is refundable. If you paid in full at booking, 25% of the total is treated as the non-refundable deposit. Cancellations made fewer than 7 days before the wedding are non-refundable.
Yes, you can book and pay online. Your booking is only confirmed once payment is received for the 25% deposit or paid in full if you choose that option. If you'd prefer to speak to us, please email bookings@onthegreengames.co.uk and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
Once payment of the deposit is received, you will receive an email containing a payment link in order for you to pay the final balance. You can pay this any time up until 30 days before your wedding date. The due date will be clearly marked on the email and you will receive reminders closer to the time as well so you don't accidentally miss the deadline.
Our packages are all-day hire rather than fixed slots. You choose the delivery and collection times for your booking so the entertainment can fit around the wedding day.
Collection time is chosen by you. In the case of a long travel time for us, we may require collection slightly earlier than your request, though this is rare.
Yes. We deliver, professionally set up and collect the mini golf course and giant garden games. You do not need to build or pack away the equipment yourselves.
Light rain does not automatically stop the entertainment. Where practical, we can use a suitable indoor or covered setup. In heavy rain, high winds or storm conditions we may adapt the layout or delay setup until it is safe. In genuinely unsafe conditions, we’ll discuss the safest options with you rather than cancelling without warning.
If you have chosen our hosted service, we may move the entertainment inside where space and venue allows depending on how heavy the rain is. For non-hosted options, it will remain outside and can be enjoyed again after the rain stops, or during the rain for anyone willing to get wet!
Yes, where your venue has a suitable, reasonably flat space and permits the equipment. The modular course can also work in marquees, on suitable terraces and outside on lawns.
Every booking is self-serve as standard: we deliver and set up, then your guests play at their own pace. Where mini golf is included, you can add an Event Host for £400 to welcome guests and manage play.
Yes. Mini golf and the giant garden games are suitable for mixed-age wedding groups. Children should remain supervised by a responsible adult throughout the hire.
Normal wear and tear is never charged. If equipment is accidentally damaged beyond normal use, we charge fairly based on the actual repair or replacement cost.

The 9-hole course, putters, golf balls, scorecards, pencils, all-day hire, delivery, professional setup and collection are included. An Event Host is optional.
We cover Cheshire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Lancashire, North Wales and the South Lake District. Wider venues, including Birmingham and the Midlands, may also be available where practical. Your venue postcode shows any additional travel charge before booking.
Yes. We carry public liability insurance. A copy of the certificate is available on request and can be supplied to your wedding venue when required.
