The practical terms that apply when you book wedding mini golf or giant garden games with On The Green Games.
Hire period and collection. Every package is available for all-day hire within the delivery and collection arrangements agreed for your booking. Collection timing is confirmed case by case, taking account of your venue location, travel arrangements and wedding schedule.
Booking payment. A booking is confirmed once the required booking payment has been received. For bookings made 30 or more days before the wedding, a 25% deposit secures the date and the remaining balance is due 30 calendar days before the wedding. Bookings made fewer than 30 days before the wedding must be paid in full at booking.
Deposit. The 25% deposit is non-refundable. Where the full booking price is paid at booking, 25% of the total is treated as the non-refundable deposit portion.
Changes to your booking. You can request changes before the wedding, including adding or removing games, changing your selection, or adding or removing an Event Host. We do not charge an amendment fee. Changes are subject to availability and the booking price will be adjusted to reflect the items and services you choose.
Cancellations. If you cancel 7 or more days before the wedding, any amount paid above the 25% deposit is refundable. If you paid in full, this means 75% of the total booking price is refundable. Cancellations made fewer than 7 days before the wedding are non-refundable.
Unpaid balances. If the remaining balance is not paid by its due date, the booking enters a 3-day grace period. If the balance is still unpaid after that grace period, the booking will be cancelled and the wedding date released.
Setup area. You are responsible for providing a suitable, reasonably flat and accessible setup area, indoors or outdoors, and for checking any venue restrictions that may affect the equipment.
Children. Children using the equipment must be supervised by a responsible adult throughout the hire.
Equipment. Equipment remains the property of On The Green Games at all times and must not be moved from its agreed setup location without prior agreement. If any item of equipment is lost or not returned to us at the end of the hire period, you will be charged its reasonable replacement cost.
Damage. Normal wear and tear is not charged. Where equipment is damaged beyond normal use, we may charge the reasonable actual cost of repair or replacement.
Insurance. We carry public liability insurance. A copy of the certificate is available on request and can be supplied to your venue where required.
Our liability to you. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud, or for anything else which cannot be excluded or limited under English law. Subject to that, our total liability to you arising from or in connection with your booking, whether in contract, negligence or otherwise, is limited to the total price paid for your booking. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of enjoyment, distress, or costs you incur with third parties as a result of any failure on our part.
Circumstances outside our control. We are not liable for any failure or delay in providing the hire, or for its cancellation by us, where this is caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control. This includes, without limitation, extreme weather, road closures, vehicle breakdown, venue closure or inaccessibility, illness or injury affecting our staff, and any other event we could not reasonably have foreseen or prevented. Where such an event affects your booking, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and work with you in good faith to find a fair resolution, which may include rescheduling or a partial refund at our discretion.
How these terms apply. By paying a booking payment, or by ticking the box to confirm your agreement at checkout, you accept these terms and they form part of the contract between you and On The Green Games for your hire.
Your information. We collect and use personal information you provide when booking, such as your name, contact details, venue and wedding date, in order to deliver your hire and administer your booking. Details of how we handle your information are set out in our Privacy Policy.
Governing law. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the English and Welsh courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
